"This is my third costume that I've sewn myself. It's my favorite so far. ;A; Took about a month to make because I get distracted by the internet. Got lots of great advice from Angelic Threads for working on this. This was made for the Silver Millenium Ball. A Sailor Moon themed ball at Anime Vegas 2010 I honestly don't remember the pattern I used for the top part of the dress. It was from Simplicity I think. lol Skirt part is just a square cut skirt. Rosettes made out of the same black organza as the under skirt of the dress. Crescent moon is made out of yellow sculpty. It was my first time working with it. I really like my moon bling. Fabric: Yellow crepe back satin Black organza Yellow lining fabric." |
