Katt describes her costume:

"this costume was planned by myself, with my choices of fabric. the skirt was a deep purple satin, which seemed to work quite well for me. the bows were made out of a heavier black satin, which stayed well and was very nice... though i wish i had made the bows myself and not have shown my mother my designs (a downside of not knowing how to sew) because they would have looked a bit better. i also wish that i had at least cut bangs into my hair for the convention. oh well. life goes on. on a sidenote: do not use gold lame for *anything* if you can avoid it. we attempted to make a tiara out of it and failed miserably. though painting the jewels proved to be easy -- this can be done with regular nail polish. the gloves and gauntlets were store bought white prom gloves with a padded, triple stitched purple satin, and the bodysuit was a white nylon . lyrca . spandex material. i think still have it, somewhere... "
