Mara says: "This was one of the last costumes I wore with the Kawaii Cosplay Quartet. I don't remember how this decision came about exactly, but we had decided to make the Outer Senshi costumes. Kat really liked Sailor Pluto, Athena really liked Sailor Uranus, Alethea really liked Sailor Neptune, and I... was the right height for Saturn. But I went along with the type casting, and ended up having fun. I have to admit, I really don't have any strong connection with Saturn, and in fact, she's probably the one senshi I know the least about. But that's the way things worked out, and I think they worked out well. And Kat and I also had a pair that went together without the other two as well." |

"We decided to be a bit more adventurous with these costumes, as opposed to our last group, which were made from broadcloth. These we decided needed to be made from satin. I had found a nice heavy bridal satin, which I was also using for the Cosmic Fantasy costumes at the time. The bodice on this costume isn't that great, but the costume turned out nice, I think." |

"I requested that we make their original forms, since I really like Saturn's wing-like sleeves and crystal brooch. I ended up using a gift bow for the brooch, as per Kat's suggestion, and I think it works really well. I also wanted to make vinyl boot covers, but my several attempts failed, and I ended up using a pair of black boots that I already owned." |
