Tristen says:

"A while ago, my friend, Gina, asked me to make some snazzy black hakama for her Kasumi of King of Fighters costume. I really liked these funky, martial arts pants, so I decided to make a pair for myself in red, whip up a quick kimono top out of some extra white silk I had around, and go to this year's Purim service as a Shinto Priestess. It was a hit, and I'm thankful God didn't strike me down for Blasphemy (on the other hand, the Rabbi was dressed as Barney) . It's probably my most comfortable costume, and I plan to wear it for hall cosplay at Comic-Con or Otakon."
