Kyoryoku says: "Oh man, where to start? I've wanted to do this costume forever, but I've never had a good enough excuse. That is until this past Halloween when the idea for a fifteen person dramatic Stars skit was conceived. I was originally supposed to be Kakyuu, but we wrote the character out and I was cast as Galaxia instead. Making this costume can be summed up into two words: LEARNING EXPERIANCE. I've never gotten frustrated to the point of tears quite so many times on one cosplay." |

"The skirt was remade twice until I finally got it to 'swish' and not actually restrain my movements. The hair was done with a five-foot wig that was styled beyond all reason and glued inside the headress which was then glued to my head to keep it on during the skit. Looking at the bolts of gold lamae in fabric stores, I've always secretly wanted to do something with it, but could never rationalize making something for the hell of it. And now I never want to see the cursed material again. But hey, I got a Judge's Award for use of said lamae, so I guess it's not all bad." |
